Dear fellow SYM:ers,
In about 12 hours, I, Silur (my husband) and Dottie will leave for a trip to West Africa. We will go through Morocco and West Sahara and then pick up a friend in Nouakchott, the capital of Mauritania. Then we will go to the border between Mauritania and Mali to visit our friend's family (they are nomads, so we are not exactly sure where to find them  ). After that, the idea is to travel around in Mali, Burkina Faso, Senegal and perhaps Gambia. We expect this to take about 6 weeks.
So, I won't be posting for a while, but I will hopefully bring back some nice photos! Have a good time all of you, and enjoy the winter holidays!
