| White Wolf made the choice (Mistake?) of ending the World Of Darkness with the arrival of Gehenna... It's all detailed in the book "Gehenna" he he he.
However, I can't tell you how it ended, because there are 4 different optional endings in the book, allowing players and ST's to chose how their world comes to a close. Then they made the choice (Mistake?) of printing WoD 2... A cheaper, nastier version of WoD 1. (Ignore my bitterness, some people really like it)
Suffice to say, from what I can remember, your options of Vampire endings are as follows:
Wormwood: A giant red star pops up in the sky and weakens every vampires generation every night... The only way to stop it from weakening you down to nothing is to suck the soul out of other vampires... Suffice to say, it all goes downhill from there.
Mummy Daddy button: Caine and Lillith pop back up and only a handful of vampires are chosen to contiue their existance during the following family tiff.
Uncle Tzimisce: The antedeluvians wake up and eat everyone.... EVERYONE!
The one I can't remember: Something... Happens... Ahem...
