| Sh'rarn could see that Kron's words had affected Tway. He didn't think it now meant she was going to start trusting or even liking him.
Next came the astonishing offer from Kron, effectively he was vowing to following Sh'rarn. "I accept this offer, we will not turn on you. I thank you for your trust. And I'm sure Tway feels the same. Right Twaynith?" He looked over at Tway who approached Kron.
Then she hit him squarely in the jaw and Kron was on the ground.
"Wha...Why did you do that?!" Sh'rarn exclaimed angrily and approached her. He could see she was crying and he softened. He was unsure what to do but reached an arm around her. Limited comfort perhaps but the least he felt he could do. She snuggled close to him. |
