Everywhere I go, I am pointed at, have things hurled at me, people try to kill me. You think I chose to suffer such an existence. How can your heart be so cold not to believe me. You think I’m making this up don’t you. I am shocked at you Tiefling. I am guilty for my mother, I may hate her, but the fact is, I have no family. The one member of my family I even knew I killed. How does that make one feel? I have tried to be myself. What happened? I had everyone draw their weapons, and prepare to attack. I spoke, and immediately I was hated. Now, that I am trying to make amends, you hate me even more. So is it impossible for me to actually have people take me for who I am, because if it is I am wasting my time here. And I mispronounced Drizzt. You know why? Because in my city, if you mention the name you were killed. I have heard the name twice back then, and that was when I was a child. Then when I reached the surface, I have heard people mention the name in their accent, which comes across as Drizzit. Not knowing your customs, I believed that was how it was pronounced, however more I have failed, resulting in me being seen as an idiot. Finally, I wasn’t trying to flatter you. I have known several paladins, many of which never lived up to their vows. There are places in this world you probably haven’t heard of, they are called brothels, places where men go for pleasure. In one town, I was told to meet a specific man who promised me he would take me under his wing until we reached a town and everything would be organised. This man was a paladin, and I was told to meet him in a brothel, I arrived early and he was being ‘serviced’ by two women. Now, I would not tell you this, except to explain why I wish to make sure that he does not just use you for your looks. But I won’t make reference in the future, but I will still make sure that the paladin is a just and fair man.”
Kron was beginning to grow weary of this, this woman would obviously hate him due to his ancestor’s crimes. Scolding himself, he realised, he should be used to this, it had always happened.
