| Had the same problem recently. After trying and trying I had enough, and bought the Black isle Compilation Pack 2 ( nice backups for all my originials ) and installed Icewind Dale ( and all addons ) with those CDs...now it works.
I think the CD might be broken...maybe it's scratched and couldn't copy all the files to the HD anymore. The 2nd CD has allways been troublesome with me....
