Stealth is neat. There's nothing like sneaking past Dremora lords or High Ordinators or a bunch of werewolves, quietly pry open a lock, get what you came for and sneak out again.
Also, playing a stealth like pc sort of prevents you from getting too powerful. That way various enemies will stay dangerous, even when you're high level. |
Exactly! That is why I like stealth so much. I also like the subtlety of it, as opposed to out and out hack and slash. Also... I'm just not that keen on the magic system in Morrowind, there isn't any variety beyond elemental spells basically (excepting paralyze and poison). Unlike in games such as SoA or IWD where magic becomes really interesting.
Stealth is just fun in MW, and there is almost always a challenge to it, which, as you say, is highly satisfying.
