| First thing would be to test your RAM, or if you have the possibility, try to test the game with somebody elses RAM.
The error you give, is often seen in connection with faulty sectors on memory. (memory could not be read).
Of course, you have also simply tried reinstall, but try a different location on your harddrive as well - although I doubt that should do much. |
