How nicely put.
I'm not an "old timer," but I'm not so young, either. I did find it rather annoying to play around with puzzles a 7 year old could solve... well, when I was 7 I was a math whiz, and the math puzzle in the Dxun tomb would've been cake. I also don't want easy puzzles in the game, but--for reasons already stated--it's not likely to happen.
I don't want Revan back as a PC, nor the Exile. I don't want some cheesy storyline that wasn't well-thought out just to link the first two games together; I'd hope the third game will have a good plot to follow. I don't want to be able to coast through the planets with relative ease; it'd be handy to find some nooks and crannies in each place with something useful or something to do, or have the NPC side-quests brought back. I recently got Thief, and have been playing it a lot, and maybe we should be able to hide in shadows; it's a common enough tactic in a few games, so why can't we hide in KotOR III? (aside from the high level of technology, the fact that the troops have nightvision, the Sith can sense you in the Force, the droids can see heat signatures) I don't want stupid enemies; they should want to chase you, and if you can duck into a corner to lose them, they search for you. So far, the only application for the Stealth skill is to use the myriad of stealth belts in the game, and if you ask me, the Stealth skill could do just a little bit more.
I could say more, but what I'm thinking about now that I haven't typed--and some of what I've already typed--belongs more in what
do you want than here.
