Back to topic: I never played Guild Wars, but fell in love with WoW right at the beginning of the ten day trial -fantastic game, with a lot of adventure, you are never bored! The world is huuuuge and fantastic, I often come to places when I simply have to halt to adore the beauty of the land... (No I'm not talking about Desolace
) At those times it really feels like I'm an adventurer, exploring the world... (I remember getting to the Tower of Ilagar by night, I was so struck by the beauty of it I simply stood there and didn't realize the mobs around me... It's truly gorgeous when the Moon is up).
The game is full of little things that add a lot to it - for example, when you become rich enough to ride a gryphon or when you get high lvl enough to start saving for your own mount... You always have a goal to reach, that's what I like in it.
The quests are also very entertaining (apart from some errand boy tasks
but you can always abandon any quest, you are sure to have enough anyway). And there's one thing I'm sure is missing from GW - professions. If you find the prof that fits you the best it can be great fun and earns you money as well.
So, it definitely worth the monthly fee for me
