| There's an actual button devoted to screenshots in game, I think it was either F12, F10 or Printscreen; Either way if you press the right button the information box in the corner will say "screenshot taken" and save a bitmap (BMP) file to your Fallout 2 folder.
I should mention screenshotting only works outside of combat...
