| Well, the jedi council did want anything to happen to them, like fall to the dark side, get killed or anyhting like that, the knew the mandalorians woul pwn them. Furthermore, the Masters were blinded by the Light, so were you, if you were fuly light sided. I think The Council tried to play it smart, but somewhere it backfired.
