As Kreia states, take the force away from a Jedi and what do you have left.
In terms of adding anything worthy to the game, well....they dont.
All 3 are fairly easy pickings, if you choose to kill them.
I played DS first and killed them all, when I got to the rebuilt enclave and Kreia appeared, I had a bad feeling she was going to bust me up. So I decided on my LS playthrough I would spare them, and they could help me kick her butt right?? 3 Jedi masters and me Vs the old hag, easy pickings right?? we would go on and save the galaxy! how wrong was I they gave me some baloni about how bad I was (eh... i had LS mastery, they blind or something) then in walks Kreia and kills em all with one round of deathfield!!
What was the point!
I no longer think Kreia killed the Jedi Masters. I recently completed two games: one as a Jedi, one as a Sith who had not killed any of the Jedi Masters. When Kreia marches in, she tells the Jedi Masters that they should see the universe through the Exile's eyes, which is when she attacks them. I think she ripped the Force from them but didn't actually kill them. When you try to select their "corpses," it says something about them being lifeless, but something worse than death as the Force has been ripped from them, or something like that (if you recall the little video T3 stole, the Jedi seem to think something similar happened to you; Atris says you're already dead, and they all seem to agree the Force is no longer present in the exile). And later, when you confront Darth Traya, and she says she used you to lure the Jedi Masters out of hiding to destroy them, "destroy" does not necessarily translate into "kill." I think the Jedi Masters are alive but unable to touch the Force. They have to rely on learning other skills instead of the Force in order to survive in the galaxy now. After all, did not Kreia once tell the exile that the greatest victory is to make your opponent see through your eyes rather than close them forever? What better way to make the Jedi see through the eyes of the exile than to make them all experience what s/he went through?
