| Also, check with the merchants. They sometimes sell random crystals, too. I usually see yellow, but some have red. And if you're worried about spending money on crystals, don't: color crystals are like 322 credits. I just finished a game as a Sith Marauder, and the bastard had over 300,000 credits, and I bought every single Jedi/Sith-related item every merchant had on every planet (well, except two lightsaber upgrades that were really downgrades in my opinion). Anyway, I wouldn't worry about the color of your first lightsaber, if that's what the red crystal is for. Once you get a lightsaber, you'll start finding others, and one of those may have a red crystal in it.
