| I meant to post this in some other thread where someone mentioned that. It's just cheaper and easier to use the same faces from the first game, and use those faces and voices as frequently as possible. So seeing faces again and again is pretty common, but main characters (like Malak obviously, Davik, Calo Nord, etc.) don't get repeated in the same game. So seeing Grenn with Davik's face and voice wasn't unusual to me, and other faces/voices get repeated, as well. Sasha in KotOR I, the girl who was attacking the Ithorian on Taris, and the girl being sold into slavery in the Refugee sector on Nar Shaddaa (I'm not sure if they all have the same voice, it's been a while since I heard any of them, but the faces are all the same).
