| Yeah, if you were neutral evil, you'd have to join the Black Robes. You could be Chaotic Neutral and join the Red Robes and be the kind of mage you want. You'd compliment Darth's character pretty well with different spells.
Also, what kind of familiar would you two want? One that can scout for you, one that can disarm traps, or one that can fight?
