True, Xan was always something specific and a char I would have dragged along every BGII-game, if it were possible. His lines were wonderful (Why don't we all just lie down and die?) and such, I laughed out loud a couple of times after hearing those.
Also, I loved his weapon (MOONBLADE! GIMME GIMME GIMME!) and the fact that he couldn't cast Invocation/Evocation spells, which made you think a bit about which spells was good when you couldn't mass MM on all your enemies.
One thought though, wouldn't it be nice to run into some elf mage called Jonoleth and his precious Ellesime, either they helping you out or hiring you for a quest, or something like that. Just to see how ol' Ire was when... Elvish. (That can't possibly be a word
