| With regards to persuade being your only option the first question she asks you is what is your STRONGEST skill, you say persuade and then she asks you what your weakest skill is and you should get the options, just pick the one you want a bonus in. you shouldnt have lost the oportunity just ask to know more about the force and then ask about your skills.
usually with the skill bonus thing you can speak to her again about it straight after. go up to her and ask her to teach you more about the force or whatever that option is (its always there) and then say you wish to speak about the lesson regarding your skills, tell her you have spent time strengthening your weakest skill ( you dont actually have to have put any points into it) and she will give you a bonus to both your strongest and weakest.
