| Here's one for ya'... Let the players run the game. I don't mean let them be the DM, but let them decide how the game will go. They are the one's whose lives depend on how well they play. Let them be the ones who make the decisions. Granted, this makes for much more work for the DM as he/she needs to have a considerable store of backup material ready if the players choose a path other than the main quest/adventure, but it does allow for many more opportunities for good roleplaying. |
