| It' s my understanding the fix pack is only to be used with new games.So I wouldn't bother installing it, at this point. It's better not to take any chances with ensuing bugs being created in the present saved games. Though I think that's unlikely.
MINOR SPOILER
A couple things, make sure you'd have all appropriate triggers. As such, make sure you've visited your room in the Fest Hall and found the Dodecahedron. And, out of curiosity, are you attempting to talk to Finam or his father's ashes? You'll actually learn the language from the ashes, assuming you learned that Speak with Dead ability a bit earlier in the game.
Anyway, sounds like you've had some hard luck. Hopefully the patch will help solve things. |
