| It's been awhile since I played Torment but as I could rememeber there is no limit to how many spells you can learn (at least I never had any problem with learning new spell).
Even if there was one you should not have any problem since Torment follows 2nd Ed rulles and by those rulles mage with 18 Int could learn maximum of 18 spells of each level up to 9th and according to GameBanshee walktrough max number of spell on any level is 17 at first.
The only thing that come to mind is this: When you find spell scroll did you choose to copy spell to spellbook option or did you cast it from scroll?
If you cast it from scroll you can not memorize it afterwards simply because you DO NOT know that spell. |
