But calling it a code of honor doesn't explain the reasons for it, and this leaves me curious. Without meaning to be insulting in any way, why should women, in your opinion, be protected by you "at all costs?" And if this leads back to your statement about an honor code, then what is the reason you follow this honor code?
I know you're bright, so I can't help thinking that "somebody told me over and over when I'm a child to believe this" isn't the explanation, here. You obviously believe something about women that causes you to go along with this belief system you've presented. And I'm curious what that is.
