Aye, an' it be kinda weird that ye only get 12.000 XP fer killin' him, while ye actually get 14.000 fer killin' the worthless mage. On top o' that, ye don't even have the time to pick up any items they be droppin', as ye're instantly teleported back to Ust Natha (unless ye're good an' kill Jarlaxle an' pick up his equipment before ye kill the wizard).

I didn't kill the lad though. I be respectin' Jarlaxle, an' I couldn't see the leader o' Bregan D'Aerthe dead somehow. Like with Drizzt. 'Tis just not right.
