| DnD damage rules are pretty straight-forward. I think that's because in DnD there is a lot more combat in the average DnD-game than in the average WoD-game. If you would apply the WoD-damage rules to DnD it would drive you crazy to calculate your new attack bonus, movement, etc. Combats would take up entire evenings.
If you want an alternate damage/hp-system with DnD, use the Star Wars-system. It's pretty good
