| Tales of the Moon and Sword Inn Tales of great deeds. I have plenty of them.
Long before those folks at Nashkel kicked me out of that flea-infested pub because of Volothamp Geddarm - I'll still get him back - I was searching from a decent place to stop my adventure. I never been a searching for adventure type, but I always seem to be near the disaster. I always seem to be a bait for adventure, and my choices are not optimal.
And when searching for such a place, I stumbled, after getting lost in the sword coast and almost dying of hunger in the deserts betwenn that uncivilized Baldur's Gate and Amn, I stumbled into a cave, wich was almost a salvation, I couldnt sleep without a coverage. When I entered, I saw there were other persons there, all talking about a Moon and Sword Inn, and about it being closed, or something, because of a dragon problem.
I was recognized by a fellow adventurer, Fas the Haffer, who invited me to try to see if that was only legend or true. Fas, a well succeded adventurer from Beregost, and served as squire for the Knights of Helm, but I was too bardic to be a squire, and I left the service after kissing the daughter of the knight, who hunts me to this day, but this is better left to tha sages. Well, not quite an succeded adventurer, but in the end we meet again in the road.
We dont know how how we got to find our way into the mountains, nor how we survived the starvation, but finally, after three days of journey we stumbled upon our salvation (well, kinda). She helped us and showed us our directions, and joined us later, but she saved us. I'll talk about her later though. |
