| Thanks for the help Xandax. Well, until yesterday I would have said that NWN was the only game with problems, but yesterday the computer started having problems with "Alexander". I don't know if you've seen this game, but the graphics are beautiful. I suspect that that means it also gives computers a hard time. I had thought it was the processing speed, but I have had a couple of people who have looked at that and said it should be fine.
Wih "Alexander", it does not chuck me out, but it does begin to jerk. It wasn't a problem at first, but became chronic yesterday when it tried to deal with LOTS of units on screen at the same time.
OK, looks like it's the card then. I have only just installed the game again, so I don't think that would be the problem.
I will try what you suggest when I return, thanks again.
