Actually I'm having trouble with the find/load text fonts error. But when I go into the fallout2.cfg underneath the [system] heading the lines that the trouble shooter tells you to add are already there. Namely;

critter_dat=H:\Games\BlackIsle\Fallout2\critter.da t
critter_patches=H:\Games\BlackIsle\Fallout2\data
master_dat=H:\Games\BlackIsle\Fallout2\master.dat
master_patches=H:\Games\BlackIsle\Fallout2\data
Where H:\ is the letter of your HD, and Games\BlackIsle\Fallout2\ is the path to the editor
(only I assume it is the path to the game as it is the config file for the game and not the editor). You should manually locate your executable/data files and change the path accordingly.
Could anyone please help me with this problem. The solution you posted is for thge editor but I'm not using the editor, I'm not too savvy with things like this but I would really like to play Fallout 2 again, any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
