I've started reading the WoD core book yesterday and I'm already full of ideas for a new Vampire-quest. I ran one in the recent past, and I thought it was pretty successful.
About the d10-system...I don't really have an opinion on that. I'm always the ST and therefore don't care for the rules that much. Well, in combat that is. In combat, I'm just trying to make things as fun and exciting as possible. I do pay attention to my dice rolls and to the rules, but only for really extreme cases (such as criticals etc).
BTW: I do that with D&D aswell. Just run an exciting combat. However, I'm more familiar with the D&D rules and therefore I keep myself to them more often than with Vampire (it's a subconscious thing I guess

, because and don't really do any math while DM-ing a combat in D&D)
