| Combat Xp should be reduced if it is from a random spawn.
If combat xp is from a plot derived encounter then it should be increased by a factor determined by a Plot Point exponent. The more story line you interact with, the greater the plot point exponent is, the better the combat xp.
Of course taking time to follow story lines will slow party progression down, but should add to the overall play experiance if peeps actually take time to interact with story NPC's. Assuming the Dev's make the story NPC's capable of tiered question/answer interaction. I look forward to finding out.
Xp awards should have a variable reward scheme. Random encounters = immediate. Story/Dungeon upon completion or end of session (logout).
