HotU is a direct continuation of SoU where you should have ended it between level 12 and 15.

The only problem with that is I am pretty sure it mentioned Minsc going back to where he came from, so there would be no reason for him to be in the next game (if it was in the future which it probably isn't). Besides, if anything Minsc wouldn't be stupid enough to be carrying around his hamster..he wasn't stupid or crazy exactly. But he might build a shrine to Boo and live the rest of his life caring for the shrine and building a small religion around the teachings of a miniature giant space hamster.

There is only one Tarrasque..and it doesn't "hardly die"..it DOESNT die unless you WISH it gone.

I cast MM, damn that didn't kill you. Okay let me try to hit you with my dart. Miss. Miss. You hit me with a sword. 6 damage. dead. Reload.
It is true that you might have some problems soloing as a mage if you were thrust into the adventure..but even in BG1 it didn't do that..unless you skipped all the side quests in the beginning of the game. You SHOULD have left Candlekeep at level 2 or so..and then right away after you leave there, you meet up with Imoen..then a couple screens away you get the two evil pricks as groupies as well. As long as they do something like a "tutorial-ish" thing like they did with BG1..hell, even NWN had one and it worked well..you leave that one at level 3 if you did it right..then everything should be just fine.

Hey now, I personally liked PoR..it was a bit buggy..and it crashed and stuff..but I liked that game! :P

Back to the topic
What I would want in BG3 is prestige classes..lots of em. As long as they fit in with the timeline though. I would love to end up remaking my NWN:HotU character (Fighter/Bard/Red Dragon Disciple)..and the wings would let me fly as well if BG3 is in 3D! Or possibly instead of "Red Dragon Disciple" just have it be "Dragon Disciple" like it is supposed to be, and you pick what dragon variety you want with it.

Basically I want a BG3 to be version 3.5 rules and 3D..which it probably will be.

IF the game starts at like level 4 or 5, allow some higher ECL races/templates..such as a Half-Dragon, Svirfneblin, Drow, etc.
