| Okay..we are starting to stray into Fallout3 territory..stop it! lol
Anyway, it REALLY wouldn't be too hard to get a good storyline and all that stuff together for more Baldur's gate games considering there is a whole line of product out there based on the Forgotten Realms setting. Not saying we have to take a campaign directly from a published pencil/paper adventure..I am just saying that there is so much information out there already about pretty much everything on Toril that it shouldn't be hard to have this faction want to get rid of this other faction..or this npc shows up to continue on his quest for dominance from this other land, and all kinds of stuff like that.
It's kinda the same as everything about Starwars..there are tons of books, games, movies, and all that stuff..and they all stick with the same storyline so there is nothing like "but that guy can't be there, because this other book said he died 50 years before this other book took place!" type crap in it.
As long as the information they use doesn't conflict with information that has been released through the official WotC handbooks on FR or authorized FR novels, then all is well. |
