I don't know, but it would be interesting to find out. Could you try following the full install guide and simply skipping the parts mentioning Disk 3 and 4?
If that doesn't work, as a legal owner of the game, you can create .iso's of the CDs on your hard disk with
Isobuster and then use a program like
Daemon Tools to mount them.
