| Forget the bargain racks. You can find it on eBay for about 5 bucks including shipping. It's pretty hard to waste five bucks. The worst thing about the game that I've found so far is that you NEED patch 1.1, if your machine has partitioned drives, in addition to the 1.4 patch.
The installer, when unpatched, forces installation on the system partition. A friend of mine didn't have that issue so maybe the problem was fixed in shipments after the initional one. (he thinks he didn't have the problem, I think he should look to see where his shortcut is pointing) Since there were problems with the installer there's a need for 2 patches to get it running right, but Ubisoft just numbered them in sequence, so 1.1 fixes the installer and the subsequent (and subsequently numbered) patches fix game issues.
