| Giles, I suspect you're closer to the truth than intended. It would make sense for the Morrowind developers to see what mods the community has made, and how many in each category. That wouldn't show the whole picture of what people expect, but it would show what people enjoy and can do, themselves.
I know from prior conversations with the team that they wanted to include truly dynamic Houses and factions in ES3, but were unable to do so because of resource limitations. This is something they'll probably shoot for, again, in ES4. It's something I'd very much like to see: a shifting fabric of alliances and treacheries that actually affect the businesses and politics, and don't follow any pre-determined course. (Of course, it would have its own internal logic, but still...)
