One point about Planescape Torment, since that's been a subtopic of this thread: Right now, since it's only recently disappeared from the inventory of nearly every store, the price has spiked. I've thought about buying it for the past few months and watched the price jump from 10-15 used, 25 new to 35-45 used, 65+ new. Also, the bidding on eBay has gotten a lot more active, from 3, maybe 4 people bidding on each auction to ten or more. It's pretty safe to assume that prices will drop back down in a few months once supply and demand re-stabilize. Of course there's a chance it won't, but prices won't get any higher than now.

And about BG3, a lot of the discussion is about how the Bhallspawn storyline can continue, when it seems to have reached it's conclusion, and the different ways it could go. Considering the fact that Black Isle created a rich environment in which the Bhallspawn story took place, if I had to guess I'd venture that BG3 will bring something entirely new into that environment which has nothing to do with the storyline from BG1 and 2. If I HAD to guess that is. Considering that this is supposed to be one of the big stories in the next issue of PCGamer (I think that's right, not Computer Gaming Monthly or any of the others) which will be out soon enough, the only thing I hope for in the game is that it doesn't make the mistake of POR ROMD-using an old title to market something that doesn't live up to the original.
