| Baldur's Gate 4???
This thought just came to me. Baldur's Gate 1 was tremendously successful and Baldur's Gate 2 surpassed Baldur's Gate 1. If they do release a Baldur's Gate 3 and if it is as successful as the first two, it's likely someone would make a Baldur's Gate 4, and possibly a Baldur's Gate 5 after that. Is it possible that Baldur's Gate could become a huge franchise like Ultima, Final Fantasy, or Breath of Fire? Anyways, that's just a thought.
This also makes me realize that almost all of the Final Fantasy games were unrelated to each other, and most of them were good. Baldur's Gate 3 wouldn't necessarily have to be tied in to BG 1&2 to be good if they have creative writers and innovative designers working on it.
