| I'd love to see ownership and membership, Clerics are almost never on their their own they belong to organisations, churches etc, Paladins by the code MUST be part of a paladins order or a church of their god, and they must respect the orders rules, and donate part ( most ) of their gold to the guild, in return they are given equipment, quarters, service, quests etc.
Druids are allowed by their code to chalange within groves for membership/ownership, rogues can join guilds, bards can preform in bars, inns, taverns, for nobility etc.
BG2 Spoilers below.
I dont understand what they where thinking with Saemon and his betrails that pissed me off so much, and i hated playing through the game only to have to listen to that idiot play games with you and then betray you, both in SOA AND in TOB, i hated that so much, i meen give me a brake here since when was an avatar of good or an evil slaughterer forced to go down to the level of a retarded rogue to find a way of some island or get into a monestary.
Sure it would be good to have an option too go that way, but i definatly see at least 6 other ways to do the same thing, theres other ships in the port, why cant he just ask for passage on one of those or if the character is evil, why not just start a slaughter and take the ship over, or why cant a monk join Balthazars oder in TOB or why cant a mage who can summon comets and stop time teleport over the monestary gates?
Those are just some simple options to substitute for a stupid betrail, i really really hated not having another option in those cases. |
