(sorry if this is old..) That would be really cool, following someone like Minsc, maybe infact Boo is a space alien! and gets minsc into some stupid situation.. or have Edwin lead the wizards of thay, but have some secret quest.
Thing is, in Baldurs Gate II ToB they concluded all of the characters, they said that Edwin took control of the red Wizards but was killed by another up coming wizard, etc with a lil story for each character you played.
So thats out the question, but it would be nice to do something with someone you met in Baldurs Gate, although I really can't think of anyone worth while.
Maybe you could play as Balduran, or the game could be a whole load of kinda mini adventures, like you play as elminster, Gorian, Durlag, etc, and do a bunch of quests, although you would lose all the substantial character development, and it would be almost another Fallout Tactics.
