Have you tried running the game in "compability mode"? For instance Win98?


Other then that - the only thing I can think of would be to try and lower you computers settings.
For instance, lower sound accelleration in Direct X to none.
Also try and lower hardware accelleration by right clicking your desktop, selecting settings/proberties -> advanced -> and then one of the tabs has some slider for hardware accelleration.

Other then this I can't really suggest anything - hope it helps.
