Inquisitor is very cool since when they reach lv34(max) in ToB, dispel magic will act as lv68 dispel magic (means 99% success even in ToB). This will remove hold person, chaos, greater malison, etc from my party and any useful enchantment from enemies. Also it saves a lot of lv3 spell slot for my mage (Imoen) 'cause she doesn't need to memorize dispel/remove magic any more. Also during combat my mage was too busy to cast dispel magic everytime my party members got hold of fear anyway. And paladin's spell is not that good (pure cleric is a way better). Inquisitor in the party will free up lv3 and lv6 (true sight) slots for mage. |
