My playing style is probably more 'adulterous' in nature
I will play with just one character until they are fairly powerful.Then I begin to get curious about what a different character might be like and I want to experience that thrill of novelty and danger (because you are so weak at first) all over again...
So I will basically switch between them depending on my mood.
For example, my main character is a Breton Mage/Fighter at around level 30. She is now Arch Mage, and she has also completed all of the Imperial Cult quests (though she does not quite meet the requirements for top rank yet). I have done about a third of the Main quest, and I have yet to rise up through House Redoran.
Very recently I created a Dark Elf Assasin/Thief/Mage sort of character. I'm thinking that in addition to joining the Thieve's Guild, she will work for the Morag Tong and become a member of House Telvanni. As opposed to the above "good" character, this one will be of a more chaotic neutral sort of alignment, good to play when I've had a bad day
I'll have to see if I'm any good at killing for money though...
