| It might be worth ignoring the Gnisis quests. I'm not certain, but with most other factions you dont' have to complete them all in order to rise to the top. Try going to Ald'Ruhn, Balmora, and Pelegiad then the boss man in Pelegiad, you might not have to do Gnisis. Alternately, start a new game and just visit the tradehouse to see if its a problem with the tradehouse, or just your particular save.
