Possible spoiler (highlight): Give Fred a break and offer to cover half of the debt he owes. Then loan him another 50 gold. When you return to the Den later on he should be standing there (usually inside Flicks) in a tux and will tell you that he struck it rich with the money you lent him. He rewards you will some expensive loot including large fuel cells that you can use on the car. |
I talked to all the bums in the town and none of them is him.
