I have also met friends on the internet, whom I see as my "RL" friends even though I haven't met them before.
I have also noticed that often people on public forums have a tendency to just "burst" out sayings not thinking it could actually hurt the one they say it to. I think that's pretty annoying(could find the word to better explain) because sometimes I might have a question or is just in need of advice, about something that I couldn't speak with a "RL" friend about, and then some people just "assault" me verbally, I don't understand why some people would do that, what do they get out of it?? It would seem to be nothing at all, but me feeling either sad or annoyed
And I think that could be everybody, not just me! I myself would never do something like that, because I DO care about the fact that a person asks for advice or poses a question that really means something to the person!
