| I'd go with Edwin, Coran and Yeslick then. Mage, fighter/thief and fighter/cleric. Dont know if it's the colour you'd like, but it'd be really powerful up in the levels.
I've never played through any of the BGs with a fighter, and I've played them through a lot. Seems boring to me, for some reason.
