I never said in my post I thought the bonuses would have a cumulative effect. Thanks for the information, though. As I recall, I was changing STR affecting items and I must not have gone above my base DEX bonus, so it appeared the DEX was only affecting the "to hit". If I had tried a stim pack, I would have seen what you have seen, the higher of the bonuses is used. In the end the manual is "dead wrong" for not detailing this, though a minute detail indeed. I wonder if it was done to accomadate armor wearing Jedi's? Having played both versions, is it worth getting the PC version? I typically play PC games, but KOTOR was one of the reasons I bought an XBOX. Later... |
