1. You can buy a basic bow from the tradehouse in Seyda Neen. They don't really look much like bows IMO in the inventory or buy/sell boxes, but there is one there.
2. Speechcraft allows you to admire/ intimidate/ taunt people among other things. The taunt feature comes in handy in some cases when you or need to kill a character and want them to strike the first blow so you don't get charged with a crime. Admire can up a person's disposition and let you get things a bit cheaper from them. The only difference it makes making it a majo skill or not is they tend to level up quicker as a major skill. The success or fail ratio is determined by the level ther speechcraft skill is. If it's at 50 as a minor skill, it won't be any more effective as a major skill if it's at 50. Like I said, the major skills just level up quicker, and help raise the attribute it's based on when you do level up.
3. I usually bypass the armorer skill. IMO, it's pretty useless to my style of play. There are some great armor you can get throughout the game that has so many damage points, it makes having to repair the armor in dungeouns a non-factor. Plus, the equipment is kinda heavy to carry around at the start of the game, and I prefer to be able to carry more loot. That, and repair is pretty cheap unless you let something get totally worn out before you get it done.
4. Armor doesn't restrict anything for the most part in the game.however, I have seen it posted in many places that such things as removing your heavy steel boots while sneaking helps and such. I've never tested it, as I usually just get some form of invisibility to do all my sneaking with.
5. I don't have an official guide. There are a lot of resources available online. Check for link in the Yellow Pages thread on this board. GameFAQ's has quite a bit of info on the game as well
