I also think Tarentino is overrated.

I will however, of course, see teh movie, and I plan on loving it.

His first three movies were great, but he is not the most influencial and certainly not the best filmmaker now working.
BTW, at four films, it's easy to be a genious. But he has to prove himself as not just a two (or three or four) hit wonder.
Spielberg was the same way- he had 4 hits (Duel, Sugarland Express, Jaws and Close encounters), then he made 1941 and was euligizied. And although he made as big a comeback as anyone (Raiders and E.T.), some, like Godard, were not so lucky. He is still trading on his one masterpiece 'Breathless' 40 years later.

I am always sceptical of big debuts, which IMO Tarentino is still riding, 11 years later.
