| By animal summoning are you talking about your animal companion, or spell summoning a dire badger/boar/wolf?
I don't think you get an animal companion as a Ranger until Lv. 6, so you may not have that one yet. As for the other summon animals, you have to choose them in your spell book, assign the summon spell to a spell slot, rest to charge it, make sure it is assigned to one of your quick slots, click on the slot then on the ground and it should summon the animal.
When you get an animal companion, it shows up in your skills, and just charges anytime you rest. |
