I swear it took me 3 hours and 15 tries to beat that. I was still in Chapter 3, around 11th level (Ranger). Nalia was 12th. I knew I was too low level for this but it was just so damn fun I kept trying, and in the end, when I finally beat it, only Minsc and Nalia had died. Luckily I had the Rod of Resurrection so I got them both back without losing equipment.
I had to use 2 Prot from Magic scrolls, one on myself, and one on Keldorn (I think). I just sent Keldorn with the HA +5 after the Lich, and summoned a fire ele, an aerial servant, an air elemt., and 2 bears. I protected Minsc from Neg Plane, and sent him after the dude casting Vamp fear or whatever it was. Used the summoned guys against the Beholder, lots of arrows flying everywhere. Nalia was Improved Invisible the whole time. Just keep trying, it's fun, and in the end it was worth it. |
