My NWN - Argyle character

Mursalin
Human Paladin
Lawful Good

Str: 15
Dex: 10
Con: 10
Int: 13
Wis: 14
Cha: 15

Mursalin grew up as the son of a rich family in Athkatla. The family had a tradition of the eldest son becoming a Paladin of Tyr. The tradition was said to be flow through the blood of the family. For 25 generations now, the eldest son had always followed and become an honorable Paladin. Due to the history, lineage and services of the family, it had grown prosperous in Athkatla. The son's rarely used the families influence to gain their enterance to the level of a Paladin, thus none of the sons ever gave out his last name.

It was custom that the son would make the name on his own by his own deeds and later reveal his identity. This was so that other, rival families, or powerful opponents could not accuse the family of nepotism and the like.

Mursalin was known for his honest and diplomatic manner. He was of average intelligence and wit, but extremely charming. It was easy for him to walk out of difficult situations with nothing but his way with words and charm.

However for all his charm and words he was afflicted as a child with a disease that made him unhealthy and unable to undertake long journeys without medical treatment. He is required to take some herbs daily to keep up his stamina. However as a party gift from his worried father, he was to wear the armor his father used, an ancient artifcat with certain magical properties, and a sword which is specially made for each son on the beginning of his journey.
